How I Started...
Hi, my name is Courtney and I am so glad you are here on my page. I am a photographer based out of Missouri and the Lake of the Ozarks but I service many other regions as well. I love to travel for shoots too! I specialize in family photography and weddings but love to shoot pretty much anything. Let me tell you a little about myself:

I grew up in the mind's idea of a small town, surrounded on one side by fields and the other forests. Growing up I was absorbed in the beauty of nature, imagining & daydreaming- fascinated with sunlight & magical things. I was constantly surrounded by love and laughter. I quickly learned to appreciate the little moments that make life so beautiful in the first place, including dusty records, small feet, cheek kisses and the warmth of a mid-summer day. Thus leading to my greatest passion in life, capturing those moments that make your heart skip a beat and preserving them to be remembered forever. I've never met a stranger, every soul has a story and Im inspired by them all. I try to teach my children the same way that I was taught, with creativity and imagination, for they are the ones with the utmost of power.

What if we need to reschedule?Life happens. If someone’s sick or the weather just isn’t cooperating, we’ll find a new date. No stress, no extra fees — just communication.

How do I book a session?Send me a message through the contact form, my Facebook page, or email me directly at sevolyentruoc@gmail.com. Once we’ve picked a date, I’ll send over a contract and invoice for the retainer(if needed) or pre-payment. Once that’s signed and paid, you're officially on my calendar!

Do you travel?Yes! I travel all over Missouri and am always open to going farther. Travel fees might apply depending on where you're located, but I’ll always be upfront about that before you book.

What should we wear?This is a big one! I always recommend outfits that feel like you but photograph well together. Stick to neutrals or muted colors, avoid big logos, and add a little texture or layering if you can. I’m always happy to help pick outfits , just send me what you’re thinking.

What types of sessions do you offer?I photograph families, couples, maternity, lifestyle newborns, seniors, headshots, weddings, and mini sessions throughout the year. I also love photographing pets, they’re always welcome! If you’re not sure what type of session you need, just reach out and we’ll figure it out together.

Do you offer studio photos?Not in the traditional sense. I don’t use backdrops, props, or stiff poses — that’s just not me. I shoot mostly with natural light in real spaces, whether that’s your home, your backyard, or a location that means something to you. That said, I do bring elements of the studio to you. I can create clean, classic portraits in your home or in spaces with good light, and I’ll help guide posing to keep it natural and flattering. My newborn sessions are lifestyle-based, but I still capture sweet posed shots using swaddles and blankets you already love — nothing overly styled or fake. If you’re wanting that crisp, timeless look, we can absolutely create that vibe without it feeling forced or disconnected from your real life.

Do you offer payment plans?Yep! Especially for weddings, I know it’s a big investment. I’m happy to split things into payments that work for you — just ask.

What’s included in a session?Every session includes: – my time photographing you – professional editing – a private online gallery to view and download your images – and both color and black and white versions of each image, no extra charge I don’t cap the number of final images — if it’s a great shot, you’re getting it.
